Position
David Wilson is a partner in Cooley’s London office and advises on a broad spectrum of UK and cross-border tax matters, including public and private mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and reorganisations.
David has extensive experience with corporate finance transactions, including issuances of debt, equity and hybrid instruments into US, UK and other capital markets. He has a particular interest in tax aspects of insurance and in the insurance of tax risk, and is closely following international developments in the taxation of the digital economy.
Career
Before joining Cooley, David practised at Linklaters for 12 years and at Davis Polk for 6 years.
