Partner in Demarest’s Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity practice areas, Ana Carolina Audi holds a joint master’s degree in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Securities Regulation from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton Business School (USA), as well as a master’s degree in Civil Law from PUC-SP. She is licensed to practice law in Brazil and in the state of New York and a member of ABRASCA (Brazilian Association of Listed Companies). Ana Carolina concentrates her practice on advising national and international companies in the negotiation of transactional matters, including the structuring of purchase and sale operations, acquisitions of shareholding (private and stock exchange), drafting of complex commercial contracts and joint ventures, and reorganizations considering tax, regulatory, operational and strategic matters, whether domestic or multi-jurisdictional. She mainly advises private equity funds, family offices and other institutional investors. Ana Carolina also has extensive experience in Special Situations and litigation/arbitration that involves strategic and corporate business matters.
