Partner in Demarest's Banking and Finance practice area, Marcus Fonseca holds a master's degree in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from the same institution and a bachelor's degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-PR). He concentrates his practice on matters involving payment methods, fintechs, blockchain, virtual assets, crowdfunding, open finance and the regulatory sandbox, as well as the development of new structures and business models. Marcus also advises clients on corporate finance transactions and financing of Brazilian and international projects.
