Partner in Demarest’s M&A and Corporate practice areas, Min Gon Kim holds a master’s degree (LLM) in Corporate Law from Columbia University (NY/USA), a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from FGV-SP and a bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. During his time in the US, Min acted as a foreign associate in the Miami office of Holland & Knight LLP as well as in the Seoul office of Kim & Chang. Min has recently worked as a visiting lawyer at Carey Abogados in Santiago, Chile. He concentrates his practice in the corporate area, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, cross-border operations and corporate restructuring. Among his main clients are Brazilian and international companies from various economic sectors. Min has been elected and appointed by Chamber Global as a leading lawyer in the area of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as a foreign specialist in Brazil in the area of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions.
