Career

Lawyer in Demarest’s Intellectual Property, Technology and Innovation practice area, Camila holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and a bachelor’s degree in Law from Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais (IBMEC). She also concentrates her practice in Demarest’s Blockchain and Digital Assets, Sports and Entertainment, and Life Sciences areas. Camila advises large companies in all proceedings relating to intellectual property assets protection, administrative proceedings involving violation of these rights, audits and franchise implementation. She is also involved in the drafting and negotiation of all kinds of high complexity contracts, within the scope of Intellectual Property and the digital ecosystem. Camila participated actively in several pioneering projects involving the intersection between brands and new technologies, such as NFTS and the Metaverse, and attended major technology events to discuss those topics. She was a guest professor of the course “Escola do Metaverso”, offered by Upper Education, a guest professor of “As Inovações do Metaverso e seus reflexos na Propriedade Intelectual”, offered by Associação Paulista da Propriedade Intelectual (ASPI), and a guest speaker in several other courses, events and workshops. She authored and coauthored several articles within the scope of Intellectual Property, Technology and Innovation. Also, Camila frequently features specialized intellectual property rankings, such as the IP Stars and The Legal 500.
