Peter Muhiu Mwangi is a partner at Walker Kontos' commercial and corporate department. Peter advises on complex real estate, private equity and capital market matters. On account of his stellar reputation in real estate matters, Peter has been appointed to various task forces  on land law including most recently the task force on the recently gazetted Regulations under the Land Act and the Land Registration Act. Peter also advises on acquisitions, restructuring and insolvency disposals. Recently he acted for the World Bank Group in carrying out a comprehensive review on the legal and regulatory framework for the setting up and operation of the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company.
