Asset Management

Position

Mr. Selden is counsel in Fried Frank's corporate department and asset management practice, resident in the London office. He works on a variety of investment management and securities law matters, with emphasis on private investment vehicles including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds and funds-of-funds. Mr. Selden advises major financial institutions, fund sponsors, institutional investors, investment advisors and commodity trading advisors on commercial, securities and compliance matters relating to the formation and offering of funds, management company structure, bespoke products, managed accounts and related matters.

Education

Mr. Selden received his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2001, where he was Editor of the Minnesota Law Review.  He received his BA from the University of Virginia in 1996.
