Richard Lightbourn is a consultant with the firm and was a partner for 38 years before being elected as a Member of Parliament in 2012. The nephew of founding partner Donald McKinney, he joined the firm in 1969.

Richard’s legal expertise and scope as a consultant includes real estate litigation, corporate litigation, civil litigation, and legal matters involving banking and finance. He is one of the firm’s leading experts in quieting title matches and conveyancing transactions.

He has successfully obtained Certificates of Title in quieting actions for several major subdivisions throughout The Bahamas.
