Career
Alicia Palladino is a partner at Goodwin. With a PhD in biomedical science, Alicia uses her experience to prosecute patents in the US and all over the globe, specifically in areas such as pharmaceutical sciences, nutraceuticals, biologics, dermatological compositions, and cosmetics.
Alicia’s focus includes working with companies to increase the value of their assets by advising her clients of matters regarding regulatory data, marketing exclusivity, and trade secrets. She also advises her clients on eligible patent term extensions and patent listings. In addition, she prepares and files patent applications, and secures patents for pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and biologics for a myriad of different products such as formulations, chemical coatings, polymers, delivery systems, extended-release systems, biologics, and more.
As an IP attorney, Alicia advises companies on IP strategy, and counsels clients on internal IP due diligence. This can include conducting reviews and audits on behalf of pharmaceutical, bio pharmaceutical, and medical device companies in preparation for partnering, financing, and public offerings. She also provides counsel on preparing non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, license agreements, and collaboration and joint venture agreements for chemical and life sciences companies.
