Career

From 2007 to 2010 she was a member of the firm’s Company Law and Corporate group.

From 2010 to 2013 she worked with Altisource Portfolio Solutions (Nasdaq: ASPS) - a multinational financial services provider – heading up the Transactions and Contracts division within the company’s global legal department and in charge of Uruguay legal matters, leading the legal team in Uruguay and reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel in the United States.

In 2012 she was an independent consultant to the Montevideo Securities Exchange, for which she prepared a report on legal reform proposals for securities market development in Uruguay. The report was submitted by the Exchange’s Board of Directors to the Securities Market Promotion Commission at the Ministry of Economy.

In 2014 she was a speaker at the 3rd Central Bank Law Seminar’s panel on Electronic Payments, addressing the subject of the effects of bankruptcy on e-money.
