Dr. Martin Lotz advises multinational organizations on data protection, cybersecurity and the EU’s digital strategy. His practice is particularly focused on the implementation of global compliance projects, incident response, defending clients in legal proceedings, international data transfers, internal investigations, e-discoveries, direct marketing, employee data protection, data protection questions in the health sector and in M&A transactions as well as on all questions in connection with the EU’s digital strategy, including the AI Act, DSA, Data Act, NIS2 and DORA. Martin also advises clients on the European Accessibility Act. Additionally, Martin has a strong background in criminal law and has extensive experience in cross-border compliance investigations and the intersection between privacy and investigations.
