Career

Dan Travers focuses his practice on complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes across a number of industry sectors. He has extensive experience working on claims arising out of joint venture disputes, M&A transactions and commercial agreements, including both civil and fraud-based claims. For a number of years he has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a leading “next generation partner” in commercial litigation. His recent work highlights include working on a billion US dollar+ claim arising in the telecoms sector, leading on the defence of an offshore bank against a £400m+ claim due to go to a 7 week trial in March 2025 and a number of disputes arising from M&A transactions, including for the owners of a Premier League football club which is due to go to trial in 2024. Dan has also advised on investigations brought by regulatory and enforcement agencies, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Serious Fraud Office (SFO), and Department of Justice (DOJ).
