Adam D. Phillips is a partner in Kirkland’s corporate transactional group and manages the Corporate practice in the Firm’s Palo Alto office.

Adam’s practice is focused on acquisitions and investments for a number of the leading technology-focused buyout and growth equity funds in Silicon Valley and representations of their portfolio companies in a variety of corporate and securities matters.

In addition to his tenure at Kirkland, Adam spent 13 years in the corporate sector as both an in-house counsel and a senior M&A executive for private and public companies. In 1997, he was named one of the 45 most influential in-house lawyers in the country under the age of 45 by CCM – The American Lawyer’s Corporate Counsel Magazine.
