Position

Elizabeth Morris represents debtors and creditors in a wide range of bankruptcy-related matters as well as both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation. She regularly practices in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration.

Elizabeth is an active member of the firm’s pro bono program. She has litigated constitutional tort claims on behalf of prison inmates, successfully represented a single mother in a family court action seeking recovery of child support and modification of visitation, and obtained employment authorization, citizenship, and asylum for immigrants.

Elizabeth is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York. Elizabeth previously served as a member and associate editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal at Fordham University, where she graduated Order of the Coif. Elizabeth also has a graduate degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth worked in higher education at a variety of institutions, including Fordham University and New York University.
