Position

Jack McNeily is a trial lawyer who represents clients in litigation and white collar defense and investigations, particularly in the financial institutions, fintech, and cryptocurrency spaces.

Jack brings a trial-ready posture and a dedication to partnering with his clients to understand their business and market and to achieve their objectives.

He has deep experience and a track record of success representing public companies and their officers, fund managers, investment advisers, and financial services firms in litigation, investigations, and regulatory enforcement in subject matters including:

    • Securities and corporate fraud
    • Complex commercial litigation
    • Market manipulation
    • Accounting fraud
    • Insider trading
    • Money laundering

Jack also maintains a robust pro bono practice and has obtained numerous notable victories, including securing a landmark restitution award for a victim of sex trafficking, as well as prevailing on Americans with Disabilities Act claims in federal court against New York City on behalf of two classes of disabled city residents, constitutional rights claims in federal court on behalf of a class of prisoners, a wrongful conviction claim in state court, and several contract disputes in state family courts.

Prior to joining Latham, Jack was an associate at a major law firm based in New York.
