Melissa Arbus Sherry is Deputy Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Supreme Court & Appellate Practice. Ms. Sherry returned to Latham’s Washington, D.C. office in October 2014 after serving five years as an Assistant to the Solicitor General of the United States. In this role, Ms. Sherry represented the federal government before the Supreme Court and assisted in overseeing the government’s litigation in the federal appellate courts. Ms. Sherry has worked extensively with federal government agencies and various components within the Department of Justice.
