Clare Scott

Position
Clare Scott advises private fund sponsors, investors, and joint venture participants in forming, investing in, and operating private investment funds and alternative investment vehicles.
She regularly advises sponsors, from leading institutional asset managers to first-time fund managers, as well as institutional investors — including strategic corporates, pension schemes, and sovereign wealth funds.
She assists sponsors with their formation, global fundraising, capital deployment, and operating activities for a range of private funds, including:

She also helps client navigate fund marketing and regulatory matters, including AIFMD.

Clare serves as the liaison to Hatch Enterprise, an incubator for social enterprises, with an emphasis on supporting entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.
She also served as the London Co-Lead for Latham’s Women Lawyers Group.
