Juan David has more than 10 years of experience and is admitted to practice law in Colombia and in the State of New York.

He has been a professor at Universidad de La Sabana – Law School in Merge & Acquisition.

His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations. 

Juan David has advised international and local multinational companies in the acquisition and sale of publicly listed and privately held companies, and in different corporate restructurings in mergers, spin-offs, and transformation processes.

Recently, he has represented and advised, Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) in the takeover of its Rionegro-based counterpart Empresas Públicas de Rionegro (EP Rio E.S.P.) and Enfragen, LLC in the acquisition of 100% of the shareholding in Prime Termoflores S.A.S. E.S.P. (former Zona Franca Celsia S.A. E.S.P.); Invernac & Cia S.A.S. in the delisting from the Colombian Stock Exchange of Valorem S.A.

Juan David has also advised Bavaria & Cía S.C.A., Valorem S.A.S., Cine Colombia S.A.S., Caracol Televisión S.A., Pei Asset Management S.A.S., Banco Credifinanciera S.A., among others, in their different corporate restructurings in merger, spin-offs and transformation processes.
