Career

Mauricio has more than 25 years of professional experience. His Intellectual Property practice is focused in advising Colombian and international companies in the definition of protection and administration strategies of IP portfolios, in the structuring and articulation of innovation strategies, in the definition of exploitation of IP rights, and in the negotiation of licensing, franchising, among other type of agreements.

His practice is focused on advising companies in the competitive and commercial effects of its business practices, including unfair trade practices, unfair competition, consumer rights, as well as merger control regulations.

He has been professor at the Pontifical Xavierian University in Intellectual Property and Competition Law.
