Mayer Brown promotes five to partner in Asia
Hong Kong, 21 November 2018 —Mayer Brown has announced the promotion of five lawyers in Asia to partner. The appointments are effective January 1, 2019.

The new partners in Asia are:
Pheona S.Y. Chow, Real Estate, Hong Kong
Pheona Chow, a Real Estate partner in Hong Kong, specializes in real estate development. She advises on a wide variety of matters throughout the cycle of real estate development in Hong Kong, including land acquisitions, government land grants and lease modification, development and redevelopment agreements, tenders for joint venture developments, project conveyancing, stamp duty, building management matters and commercial tenancies. Recently, Ms. Chow advised the Airport Authority on the tender for SkyCity, a 350,000 square meter shopping, entertainment and office complex at Hong Kong International Airport.
Cindy W.S. Kao, Corporate & Securities, Hong Kong
Cindy Kao, a Corporate & Securities partner in Hong Kong, specializes in international securities offerings, initial public offerings and private equity investments (both debt and equity). Ms. Kao advises underwriters and issuers with respect to securities offerings, with a primary focus on PRC-based issuers. She represents an array of clients, including leading international investment banks and companies, throughout Asia, including the PRC and Taiwan.
Alvin L.Y. Yeung, Real Estate, Hong Kong
The practice of Alvin Yeung, a Real Estate partner in Hong Kong, includes a wide range of real estate development related matters, including the sale and purchase of land and land holding companies. Dion Yu, a Banking & Finance partner in Hong Kong, advises and represents banks and financial institutions in banking finance transactions ranging from bilateral loan transactions to syndicated secured loan financing.
