Liv Machado is a partner in the Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the São Paulo office.

Career

Main organizing Committee of the INSOL International 2023 (Tokyo), member of the Latin America Committee, Latin America Round Table Committee, INSOL International Governance Task Force and part of the Sub Committee – Future leaders in Latin America.

Drawing from over 14 years of experience in judicial recovery and reorganization, Liv Machado advises local and foreign clients in judicial reorganization, extrajudicial reorganization and liquidation cases. She also represents investors in acquiring assets and lenders of financing.

In 2021, she was recognized in five different categories in the Análise Advocacia Mulher Ranking, which were: São Paulo, Banks, Autoparts, Arbitration and Antitrust. In 2022, Liv was recognized in Chambers Brazil: Contentious Guide, in the Bankruptcy/Restructuring category, and recognized in Leaders League Brazil 2023 in the Bankruptcy category.
