Position

Lorena Nisiyama is a partner in the Antitrust practice of Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown.

Career

She advises clients on all areas of competition law, with strong a focus on cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, negotiations of leniency and settlement agreements with the antitrust authority, antitrust litigation regarding CADE decisions and general consulting in the area, particularly in vertical agreements and distribution issues. Lorena is also very experienced in internal antitrust audits and antitrust compliance investigations and trainings.

She is recognized by directories and publications such as GCRWho’s Who Legal, Análise Advocacia 500, Leaders League and Legal 500 as a Rising Star in Antitrust in Brazil. She is also a voluntary professor of Antitrust Law at the Universidade de Brasília Law School.
