Alysa focuses on strategic counseling and management of distinctive signs, patents, copyright and general intellectual property portfolios for national and international clients, as well as on defending their rights in Ecuador before administrative and judicial authorities.
She gives advice on the effective protection of new technologies, patents, industrial designs as well as on the negotiation of agreements and technology transfer.
Her experience in the public sphere includes her role as legal expert at the Ecuadorian Intellectual Property Institute, IEPI, in the distinctive signs and patents department and in the Intellectual Property Committee.
She worked in a long-standing law firm in Lima Peru, where she focused on intellectual property specializing in patents and trademarks both in Peruvian and Andean Community jurisdictions.
