Mario specializes in free competition, unfair competition and economic regulation. His practice includes administrative and civil litigation and preventive advice on local and regional competition law, ranging from investigations for abuse of market power, notices of economic concentration, state aid, restrictive practices and cartels.

He has successfully worked on some of the most sophisticated transactions and investigations involving the Ecuadorian competition regulator.

Mario combines his professional experience with academic research in competition law, enabling him to approach complex problems with a broad perspective and technical precision.
