María Paula’s practice focuses on the energy sector, specializing in electricity and non-conventional renewable energies. In recent years, she has devoted her professional practice to negotiating and structuring power purchase agreements and to having an extensive understanding of the regulatory legal framework applicable to power generation in Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and Panama. She has led and supervised multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions with funds specialized in the development of renewable energy projects in Latin America.
