Career

With broad experience both in commercial and in investment arbitration proceedings, Cristina has represented investors and respondent States in arbitration proceedings under the arbitration rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Her experience also includes commercial disputes conducted under the rules of the ICC, the Lima Chamber of Commerce and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). In addition, she is a seasoned litigant in matters relating to arbitration award enforcement. Cristina was a member of Miranda & Amado from 2004 to 2006. She rejoined the firm in 2014 and worked as a counsel until 2018, when she was promoted to partner. Previously, she was an associate at King & Spalding, New York from 2012 to 2013, Crowell & Moring, New York from 2010 to 2012, and Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, New York from 2009 to 2010. Cristina is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master’s Degree from New York University School of Law.
