Position

Francisco Tong is head of our Environment practice group. He specializes in mining, environmental and natural resources law.

Career

He answers tax inquiries, and advises industry, pharmaceutical, energy, telecommunications, retail, and service distribution sectors companies on national and international taxation matters.

He focuses his practice on transfer pricing, with emphasis on advisory, preventive review, planning and tax litigation defense.

Tulio is an active member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law (IPDT), where he has been director and part of the Governing Board for two periods: 2013-2015 and 2017-2019. He is also an active member of the International Fiscal Association, Peruvian Group.

He is a frequent lecturer in academic and business events, and has published several articles of his specialty. He was professor of  Tax and Corporate Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Universidad del Pacífico.
