He has extensive experience negotiating and structuring mergers & acquisitions, financing, due diligence for companies and mining projects, option contracts, joint ventures, streaming and shareholders agreements. He provides general corporate advice.

He negotiates and designs corporate structures to conciliate perspectives and contractual, tax and economic needs as well as experience in obtaining permits and administrative licenses, including negotiating and closing various agreements with local communities to allow the operation of mining projects. He has been involved in privatization processes, stability contracts and foreign investment.

Claudio has been a visiting lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York (2013-2014) and assistant professor in the Mining law course of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2010-2011) and intern at the Inter-American Human Rights Commission in Washington D.C. (2003). He was stationed as internal attorney of Las Bambas Mining Company S.A. (2014).
