Position

Diana Briones specializes in the regulation of public utilities and infrastructure, with emphasis on infrastructure, energy and sanitation, and in the resolution of disputes related to these sectors.

Career

Her experience includes the structuring, financing, construction and operation of projects related to the provision of public utilities and infrastructure. Diana’s practice also includes the development of projects under various legal mechanisms, including private investment and public-private collaboration schemes, such as Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Works for Taxes, Government to Government Agreements (G2G) and social responsibility actions.

Diana has been a fellow at the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia (2014) and an international lawyer at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in Madrid (2014-2016), where she was part of the corporate law and international arbitration areas.

In addition, Diana has been a teaching assistant at Universidad de Lima and Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Currently, she participates as a guest lecturer in her area of expertise at Universidad de Lima.

Diana has also bien a member of the Rules of the Game Committee of Women in the Profession (WIP Peru) since 2019.
