Giancarlo is a partners in the areas of Dispute Prevention, Resolution and Arbitration and Patrimonial Civil Law. Lawyer by the University of Lima, specialist in all types of litigation and dispute resolution, legal risk assessment, legal affairs manager, compliance, and corporate affairs, with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has been Head of the Judicial Litigation and Arbitration Area, and has led important teams in these specialties, having overseen more than 300 judicial processes, including civil, administrative, constitutional and arbitration, for more than 100M dollars.

He has headed the litigation practice in multinational companies such as Ambev, Anheuser Busch – InBev and Grupo Aje, locally, and in more than 10 countries in the Latam region as Legal Manager and Regional Legal Manager, in addition to having served as an international associate at Arent Fox LLP – New York.

He has been teaching for more than 13 years in different courses of Procedural Law at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and 1 year at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad del Pacífico.

He is a professor of the Compliance & Compliance Culture Unit of the master’s degree in business law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and is Executive Director of the Peruvian Institute of Compliance. He has participated as guest speaker in different national and international congresses, events and webinars on Procedural Law and Compliance.
