Diego is a partner of the Natural Resources: Mining and Environmental Practice Areas, specializing in mining, environmental, commercial and compliance law.

He advises companies on contractual, regulatory and environmental aspects related to the development of mining projects.

Diego has significant experience in the negotiation and execution of operations related to the acquisition of projects and / or mining companies; transfer, assignment, option contracts, mining exploration and exploitation agreements, royalties, joint venture, due diligence, financing, identification and permit management; as well as advice on audit procedures, sanctions and environmental matters related to the use of natural resources.

Diego was President of Instituto Nacional de Derecho de Minería, Petróleo y Energía during 2012-2103.
