Milena’s practice focuses on providing legal advice in the areas of Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Infrastructure.

In terms of significant transactions, Milena has been actively involved in financial closings of projects in excess of US$500 million, having been part of emblematic transactions in the areas of M&A and infrastructure, national and international.

She has worked as an assistant lecturer in Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University ‘Nuestra Señora de la Asunción’, in 2014. She has participated as an editor in the works “Summa Legislativa para Contratar with the State”, published in 2015, and “Anales de la Defensa Jurídica del Estado Paraguayo”, also published in 2015.

She has participated as moderator and presenter in several lectures on topics related to her areas of expertise organised by BKM | Berkemeyer.

She was distinguished by Chambers and Partners as ‘Associates to Watch’ in the area of Banking and Finance in the Latin America 2024 and 2025 editions. As well as by The Legal 500 as Leading associate in the area of Banking & Finance in the 2024 and 2025 editions.

She is a member of the IBA.

Milena graduated Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Catholic University ‘Nuestra Señora de la Asunción’, summa cum laude, in 2013. She obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University, School of Law, in 2016. She has been admitted by the New York State Bar to practice law in the State of New York, U.S.A in 2018.
