Career

Stan Hill is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP's Atlanta office. Stan is regularly tapped by medium and large employers to advise on the administration of disability accommodation processes and FMLA leave programs. Leveraging technology, data analysis, and deep legal knowledge, Stan creates custom solutions to efficiently administer programs in accordance with law and in alignment with corporate culture, while also detecting and deterring employee abuse and fraud.  Stan has assisted employers of all sizes comply with the new laws and ever-evolving guidance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stan’s litigation and trial practice spans individual, collective, and class actions brought under state and federal employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage-and-hour laws, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Stan's passion for employment law began during his federal clerkship for the Honorable Patricia C. Fawsett, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. In addition to traditional clerkship duties, Stan assisted the judicial subcommittees proposing revisions to the Eleventh Circuit Pattern Jury Instructions on civil rights and employment law.
