Tara Reinhart is head of the Antitrust/Competition Group in Skadden’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses on civil litigation and government investigations, with an emphasis on complex antitrust litigation and international cartel probes. Ms. Reinhart has led trial teams in several merger challenges, including for Sabre in its successful defense of the Department of Justice Antitrust Division's challenge to Sabre's acquisition of Farelogix, and for the Federal Trade Commission in its successful challenge of the Staples-Office Depot merger. She has handled many individual and class actions alleging theories of conspiracy and monopolization in many sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, technology, and transportation. Ms. Reinhart has also handled criminal and civil investigations by the Antitrust Division, the FTC and state attorneys general in many industries. Additionally, Ms. Reinhart advises clients on antitrust compliance matters, including designing compliance programs, training executives and performing compliance audits.
