Javier Figueroa is an Associate in BLP’s Guatemala office engaged in the practice areas of Business Law and Banking & Finance. He has extensive experience advising commercial companies on merger and acquisition procedures, including due diligence. He has participated in advising on contractual matters and transactions with local and international clients. His experience in Banking & Finance includes the preparation of opinions on various banking matters, advising on national and international loans, and establishing multiple guarantees. Javier has excelled in coaching law students from Rafael Landívar University for the Moot Court of the International Investment Arbitration Competition (CAII).
