Simon joined eversheds sutherland in december 2019 from morgan lewis & bockius, llp and has specialised in advising on outsourcing transactions his entire legal career, acting for both customers and suppliers and across sector and service types. Simon previously served as a legal director and divisional commercial director for one of outsourcer capita’s largest divisions, bringing a unique perspective, in particular when acting for customers in the procurement of new technologies and services. Prior to joining capita, simon was ranked as an “associate to watch” in the 2015 edition of chambers.Key focuses include:• transformation of existing outsourcing arrangements, through disruptive technologies such as robotic process automation and artificial intelligence.• technology-enabled business process outsourcings in the insurance and pensions sector.• it outsourcings in the financial services sector, including the application of new regulation such as the european banking authority (eba) outsourcing guidelines.Since joining, simon has worked on a number of strategic outsourcing projects for existing eversheds clients as well as for a number of new clients to the firm.
