Work Department
Kate is a Principal Associate in our HRPG group, dual qualified in both employment and pensions.
Kate's experience across both disciplines provides her clients with a unique insight into the interface between the two subjects.
Kate regularly provides advice to both companies and trustees on a wide range of pension issues, including auto enrolment, salary sacrifice, scheme change, employment-related pensions issues such as age, sex and disability discrimination, pensions issues on TUPE transfers and equalisation.
Her non-contentious employment experience includes advising on changes to employment contracts (particularly when associated with pension scheme changes) and subsequent consultation obligations, redundancy exercises, employment status and discrimination issues.
