Lisa is a principal associate in our intellectual property group, who advises on all aspects of ip law and brand management. Dispute resolution lisa has significant experience in ip and commercial dispute resolution and has advised on numerous disputes with international and cross-border elements. She has experience in all stages of dispute resolution, from initial pre-action advice to trials, as well as settlement and adr (including domain name complaints and company names tribunal complaints). Transactional/contract advice lisa advises on, negotiates and drafts all types of commercial ip agreements including licences, assignments, r&d agreements, ndas and other commercialisation or collaboration agreements. She handles ip aspects of corporate transactions, from due diligence/ip analysis through advising on risk mitigation to drafting transaction documents. Strategic analysis lisa also provides ip analysis and strategy advice, including in relation to advertising and competitions, with recent experience including advising a well-known arts festival regarding ip ownership and licensing of a high-profile play; advising on and drafting ip policies for various he sector clients; and advising a client in the beauty sector on ip and marketing issues. Recent experience other recent experience includes: drafting r&d templates and bespoke project-specific agreements for clients in the utilities and energy sectors, drafting agreements relating to social media influencers and collaborations, and acting on multi-jurisdictional high court litigation for well-known retail sector clients regarding trade mark and design infringement claims. Lisa achieved a distinction in the postgraduate diploma in intellectual property law and practice from the university of oxford and has been described as "well respected in the area of ip litigation" and "a key contact in the nottingham office" by the legal 500 directory.
