Mark heads up our Nottingham office and is a partner in our Employment team. Mark re-joined Eversheds from Capital One Europe Plc, where he had worked as a Legal Director. As a Legal Director, Mark's role required him to instruct various law firms, including Eversheds.

Mark deals with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work and specialises in restructuring and TUPE work, executive severances and handling high profile employment related litigation.

Mark has a particular expertise in the area of TUPE and is very experienced in advising in relation to the employment aspects of outsourcing projects as well as corporate and commercial transactions.

Mark has extensive experience of advising clients in the private sector, in particular within the retail, financial services and manufacturing sectors acting for such clients as Nationwide, Bradford & Bingley plc, Capital One (Europe) plc, Experian, Yum! (Kentucky Fried Chicken) Johnson Controls, Crown Packaging UK Plc, Carpetright plc and Radley.

Mark is named in both the Legal 500 and as a leader in his field in the Chambers Directory in which he is lauded for "his highly commercial, focused and approachable manner". Mark was nominated for "Employment Lawyer of the Year" in 2012 by both The Lawyer and Legal Business.
