Hari is a Senior Associate in our Intellectual Property team with broad experience across the full spectrum of IP rights in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Hari’s contentious matters include High Court proceedings and disputes concerning trademarks and passing off, patents, copyright and design rights as well as misuse of confidential information and trade secrets. Hari has significant experience in all stages of litigation, up to and including trial, and consequently he is well-versed in litigation strategy, drafting detailed witness statements and expert reports, managing disclosure workstreams and working closely with trial counsel. In relation to non-contentious matters, Hari has extensive experience of advising on IP due diligence aspects of corporate transactions, as well as drafting licences and assignments of IP rights. Additionally, Hari advises clients on branding issues and the management of trade mark portfolios. Hari was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford in 2018.
