Nicola Evans

Work Department
Nicola is a Legal Director in our corporate group and is based in London. She is a co-leader of the firm's Global Reorganizations Group. Her experience covers a broad range of corporate transactions including reorganizations, M&A, equity capital markets, joint ventures and private equity, as well as providing advice to clients on more general day-to-day corporate matters. Nicola joined Eversheds Sutherland from a Magic Circle firm, where she also gained in-house experience on secondment to the Banking and Capital Markets legal team at Citi. While at Eversheds Sutherland, she has also completed a further secondment with Legal & General. Nicola's experience includes advising on and project managing numerous international transactions and reorganization projects. She speaks French and basic German. Her experience includes advising: FTSE 100 client SEGRO plc on a number of joint venture and other projects, acquisitions and disposals; LetterOne on both the acquisition and subsequent disposal to Goldman Sachs-backed iQ Student Accommodation of their portfolio of student accommodation; a Luxembourg based wealth management company on its preparations for an IPO on AIM; and G4S plc on the reorganization of its global cash business. Nicola was named as a "Rising Star" (London) for M&A in the Thomson Reuters "Super Lawyers" for 2013.
