Rebecca is a Principal Associate in the Real Estate group specialising in advising private equity, sovereign and institutional investors on inward investment into the prime UK property and property debt markets.
Rebecca's key clients include German open-ended funds, sovereign wealth funds and UK institutional investors and lenders, including Credit Suisse, Lloyds Banking Group, Cheyne Capital, LetterOne, SEGRO, Libyan investments companies and the owners of The Shard.
Recent transactions include:
Corporate Real Estate - Three transactions for LetterOne worth over £600m for the acquisition of 10 student accommodation properties with over 3,300 beds.
Purchases - 12.5m purchase of The Corner Block, Manchester, £30m purchase of an industrial building in Barnsley and £9m purchase of 45 Folgate St, London for CS (Lux) Global Emerging Market Property Equity Fund.
Real Estate Finance - Rebecca advises both Banks and borrowers on the Real Estate aspects of Facility Agreements and Debentures. For example a re-financing relating to the refurbishment of The Corner Block, Manchester. £65m loan for United Overseas Bank secured over 11 multi-tenanted properties.
Asset Management - Rebecca leads and manages the UK Real Estate portfolio of various overseas Real Estate Funds for Credit Suisse and is a key member of the Credit Suisse key account management team. Rebecca also leads and manages all asset management work for two Libyan investment companies. She acts for SEGRO dealing on its London industrial portfolio and deals with asset management and development work at The Shard. Rebecca also deals with all asset management work for the landlord of the Berkeley Square Estate portfolio.
