Martin Issitt
Work Department
Martin is international head of the corporate group, responsible for building the London and international corporate business.
He specialises in mergers, acquisitions and cross-border projects. He has handled a series of public and private company transactions for multi-nationals for over 20 years, which frequently included multi-jurisdictional deals. He has also worked in Paris on M&A deals in the local market.
As former practice group head, Martin was responsible for the introduction of various initiatives designed to meet client needs and improve the value of Eversheds' services. This included the introduction of a re-engineered due diligence process which has client objectives and communication at the heart of its delivery framework, a project management programme for all corporate lawyers, and the development of virtual deal rooms and related technology products to improve process efficiency and focus on client issues.
A major focus for Martin has been the delivery of common M&A service levels and approaches across borders.
