Ben is an associate in our real estate practice group and specialises in real estate finance; advising a range of lenders on the property elements of their secured lending activities.

Ben also has expertise in distressed recovery, having acted for a number of LPA Receiver and Administrator clients in relation to the disposal of residential and commercial property by both private treaty and auction; and additionally deals with social housing finance matters, general landlord and tenant work and corporate support.

Ben has acted for all of the major high street banks since joining Eversheds and his current clients include a mix of high street banks, building societies, security trustees and investment banking and wealth management providers.

Ben is currently the lead property adviser to a number of lenders on a large scale financing project involving combined commercial facilities of circa £80 million via a Security Trustee arrangement.
