Deborah Archer is a leading banking and finance lawyer with over 20 years’ experience.

She advises local and international financial institutions, industrial and provident societies and corporate entities and individuals across various sectors on all aspects of borrowing and lending.

A dual qualified (both NI and England and Wales) banking and finance partner within Eversheds Sutherland, Deborah is the head of the Banking & Finance practice in Belfast.

A large part of Deborah’s role is providing guidance to both financial institutions and borrowers in relation to their banking and finance arrangements and the structuring of appropriate security packages. She also advises on restructurings and work-outs.

Over her career, Deborah has presented at various client conferences and events. She is also a tutor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (part of The Queen’s University, Belfast) where she tutors trainee solicitors on corporate and finance law.
