Marianne Claes

Marianne is a lawyer who joined the commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice group of eversheds brussels in september 2014 and deals with a broad array of matters in this respect. Marianne has been involved in a wide range of legal disputes acting mostly for international companies. She advised companies on many commercial aspects relevant to their specific trading area and regularly represents them in court. Marianne graduated in law from the catholic university of leuven in 2012, where she mastered in european and international law with a focus on commercial and trade law. She wrote her thesis in the framework of international trade law on ‘embedded process and production method - regulations and their compatibility with international trade law’. She specialized in european law by taking an additional ll.M at université panthéon-assas in paris prior to joining the bar in 2013.
