Laura Yvonne Zielinski

Laura yvonne zielinski is an associate in our international arbitration group. She specialises in both commercial and investment arbitration and also focuses on contentious and non-contentious public international law work. Her recent experience includes a high value public international law case before the iran-us claims tribunal, a state-to-state dispute before the international tribunal for the law of the sea and an unclos annex vii tribunal, and a complex multi-billion dollar gas dispute. Laura also regularly advises on investment structuring to access investment treaty protections, and on public international law matters, such as sovereign immunity issues. Moreover, laura is a contributor to the oxford university press’ investmentclaims website and teaches introduction to international dispute resolution at sciences po at the undergraduate level. A native of germany, laura holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from sciences po paris, as well as an ll.M. From columbia law school.
