Thomas is a Franco-British associate in our Competition Group based in Paris, and is specialised in competition law and general commercial and regulatory matters.

Thomas advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of EU and French competition law, including anticompetitive practices. Thomas is also regularly involved with merger control notifications, before both the local competition authority and the EU Commission.

Thomas’ practice also covers general commercial matters, and he has experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts, such as distribution agreements, agency agreements, general terms & conditions, franchise agreements and service agreements.

Having grown up in London and studied Law in the United Kingdom and in France, Thomas is perfectly bilingual in English and French. He obtained an LLB (European) from the University of Exeter, as well as a Masters 1 from the University of Rennes 1 and a Masters 2 in European Law from the Sorbonne (Université Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne).

Thomas has undertaken several internships with Eversheds, including his formal qualification training. Prior to joining Eversheds, Thomas worked for the French Competition Authority, the legal department of an international electronics manufacturer, and other English and French law firms.

Thomas Strange, avocat franco-britannique au sein du département droit de la concurrence à Paris, est spécialisé en droit de la concurrence et droit commercial.

Il conseille des clients français et internationaux sur les différents aspects du droit de la concurrence, tant à l’échelle nationale qu’au niveau européen. Il est également amené à intervenir dans des notifications de concentrations, que ce soit devant l’Autorité de la concurrence ou devant la Commission européenne.

Concernant le droit commercial, Thomas a acquis une expérience dans l’analyse et la rédaction de divers contrats, y compris les conditions générales de vente ou d’achat, les contrats de distribution et les contrats d’agence.

Ayant grandi à Londres et poursuivi ses études de droit au Royaume-Uni et en France, Thomas est parfaitement bilingue. Il a obtenu une licence en droit (LLB European) de l’University of Exeter ainsi qu’un Master 1 de l’Université de Rennes 1 et un Master 2 Professionnel de l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Avant de rejoindre Eversheds, Thomas a travaillé notamment au sein du Service du Président à l’Autorité de la concurrence, au sein de la direction juridique d’un fabricant de produits électroniques international et dans des cabinets d’avocats anglais et français.
