Mark Hughes is a partner in our litigation and dispute management group. He joined the firm in 2020 having been at a UK magic circle firm for more than 18 years, first in London and then in Hong Kong since 2010.

He advises clients on a wide range of contentious matters including litigation in the Hong Kong courts, arbitration, investigations by regulators and other authorities in Hong Kong and overseas and internal investigations and enquiries arising out of alleged misconduct. Many of the matters on which he has advised have involved multi-jurisdictional issues.

His clients have included financial institutions, private equity firms, brokers, asset management firms, listed companies, large state and privately held group companies, partnerships and individuals.

Mark is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales.
