Jack is the Managing Partner of the Shanghai office. He specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, China-related investments, employment law, general commercial law, data privacy, corporate restructuring and general corporate and regulatory advisory. He has worked on matters across a range of industries including automotive, consumers, chemical, manufacturing, medical devices, professional services, and renewable energy. Jack is a co-head of the firm's industrial sector group in Asia.

Jack has over 14 years of on the ground experience in China and has established long term client relationships, winning the trust and confidence of his clients through the practical and commercial nature of the advice he provides, always taking into account the interaction between legal provisions and business needs. His awareness of both Chinese and Western cultures allow him to bridge the cultural gap between his clients and counterparties.
